Logo Design Brief

We're organizing a Canadian music festival featuring acts that play 60's and 70's music. We like the idea of a Canadian icon, e.g., a beaver, red Canadian maple leaf (like in our flag), playing a guitar and with a hippie-like visage.

Direct hit on our request for a logo would be: a cartoon-like Beaver dressed like a hippie, non-gender specific.

Requirements

Must have

• A funky, hippie Beaver, red Canadian maple leaf (like in our flag), playing a guitar and with a hippie-like visage. I like the idea of the quintessential Canadian use of the word "Eh!" in there somewhere. One of the accompanying jpegs has an "Eh!" in the middle of the Maple Leaf. Love it!
• Must be adaptable to website, print, cards, T-shirts, maybe even a mascot. At this stage, just a logo.

Nice to have

• Vintage, retro, 60's look and feel. Themes of 60's era peace, love, artsy, hippies, organic, and back-to-nature.
• Sunglasses? Bandana?
