Logo Design Brief

We need an updated modern logo for a winery in the Douro Valley, Portugal. We wanted to clean up the font and simplify the current logo with more color and to reduce the busy logo. The current logo needs to replace da with de. The property is catering to a 5 star community so want an elegant and eye catching logo for our website.

We incorporated elements of our property in the current logo and I would like to build off of any of these elements. Google the Douro Valley - Wine - Travel to get an idea of some of the imagery. It is all about hand terraced hills, vines, wine and the river.

Our new project will be redeveloping old buildings to be historic but with modern amenities. We would like the new logo and mark to incorporate these old meets new design.

Requirements

Must have

• Style and the Quinta de Santa Clara with clean fonts and a clean mark.
• Google Quinta Fonts. I would love to use a modern style font that is built off the traditional Quinta Fonts.

Nice to have

• Incorporating the feel of the Douro Valley, Portugal (google Quinta's and Wine with the Douro).
• This property is over 200 years old and we are rebuilding it to keep the old historic story of the Douro River but bringing many modern updates and amenities. I am not quite sure how to represent that in a logo but that is the core of the project.

Should not have

• Nothing cheesy or tacky or traditional/old world Wine or Quinta styles.
