Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for "Island Bus Shelters" which is a new community group on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada. Our goal is to solicit creative bus shelter designs from artists and designers which reflect the special qualities of this island while becoming points of visual interest in themselves.

The logo for another organization "Island Pathways" (attached below) is the kind of logo concept we are looking for.

I am attaching a number of photos to give everyone an overview of the rural setting on Salt Spring for context purposes.

• We hope that a logo for Island Bus Shelters will reflect the imaginative and creative approach we are seeking for bus shelter ideas for our small rural island: welcoming, attractive, eye-catching, exciting, creative, and fun.

Nice to have

• A logo which will appeal to and attract designers and artists to become engaged in our search fro creative bus shelter designs for our rural island.

Should not have

• We are not looking for an urban cookie-cutter homogeneous style design for our bus shelters and hopefully a logo will reflect that approach.
