Logo Design Brief

We are the Uppsala Social Robotics Lab (affiliated with Uppsala University, Sweden). We aim to develop robots that look and behave similar to humans. We want them to learn (using AI) to interact socially with us humans bringing benefits to the society we live in. There is a strong focus on the interaction between humans and robots and we would like to see this in the logo.

We would like a minimalist design that communicates modern professionalism and emphasizes on the social interaction aspect between robots and humans. It should trigger sincerity and a bit of awe (robotics is a cool subject after all). There are no requirements on the color and you may choose the full name or any acronym that works with the design; However, text should clearly be part of the logo and not look like standard print. We are also happy to accept a logo that doesn't use text at all.

We want to use the logo for branding on posters, presentations, our website, info-screens; Anything that is read by people outside the lab. You can visit our website at http://hri.research.it.uu.se/ .
