The project is about user interface design for mobile app.

This is a pilot project whose purpose is to find one or several designers that we can work with, for dozens of our upcoming mobile app projects.
Detailed requirements and specifications are elaborated in the attached file.

This project is a design contest. So If you are not willing to submit a draft design, please don't submit your bid.

I will select a design if of the submitted drafts is done according to specs.

Updates

a couple of things

- final files should be vector type for reliable conversion to *.fla files for the final deliverables

- if your schedule doesn't leave you much time until project deadline, submit just half of the icons. If your submission is good enough, I'll be happy to extend the deadline to give you more time to finish it.

just to avoid any potential misunderstanding:

There are 2 groups of main menu UI examples in the specs. First 3, shown under "design style do's" are to be emulated, because this is the style and standard of quality I require. If you believe these can be further improved I welcome your input, but the winning design can not be of lower quality than first 3 examples.
The lower 3, shown under "design style DONT'S" are to be avoided, they are shown to demonstrate the mistakes in design approach

additional clarification to avoid misunderstandings

The images shown under the descriptions for individual icons are there to help you visualize the description better.
They are not to be emulated in terms of style, and certainly not copied.

The key criteria is judging submitted designs is this:
How closely does it emulate the style shown under "design do's" examples?
