Logo Design Brief
We are opening a brand new legal forms company in January 2014, and we need a logo design. Our company is called Precedent Forms, and our tag line is "Legal practice made perfect". The tag line can be in the design or not, as the designer sees fit. Our company will be a web-based service which users will sign up for and pay a monthly fee to have access to our software program.
Briefly, the program will allow attorneys to input their client specific information into the program, and the program will merge all the case information into the form selected by the attorney, and allow the attorney to print out clean, professional looking forms ready for filing with the court. The product is designed to be a sleek, efficient, easy to use improvement to the daily functioning of a law office.
In terms of what we are looking for in a logo design, we are open to muted earthy colors, or primary colors, but not pastels. We would like to keep the design to just two or three colors. We want a modern, sleek, sophisticated feel to the design, and lean towards minimalist looking work. We will need some kind of symbol that we can pull out of the design to use as an icon. The design must be versatile enough to look good in black and white printing as well as color. We prefer a flat design, no 3D.
