Logo Design Brief

We are an industrial spray painting company in Australia, we paint anything! From trucks to drill rigs and other heavy duty equipment. We also paint other things like kitchen cupboards, motorbikes and concrete floors. A customer can bring us a piece of equipment that looks ready for the scrap heap and we can make it look brand new, repairing if necessary and then spray painting to achieve a very high quality finish.
We need a logo that is masculine, simple, clear and very easy to read. The logo will be our branding for our premises, work vehicles, trucks and promotional clothing and will need to be put onto “high visibility” work shirts, which are bright yellow/navy.
We would rather have only 2 or 3 colours in the design. We would prefer a dark charcoal background colour with lemon coloured font. Including white would also be acceptable, that said we will consider other options. We want the logo to be strong and reflect the work we can perform; high quality, precise and fast.
An example of the font we like is “air strike bold” and “air strike grad” as it looks fast, clean and slick.
