Currently looking at a set of icons that would act as menu items for a LMS targetted at illiterate and innumerate audience - typically with learning abilities of a 4-6 year old adults.
Updates
The common comments has been for description of the menu items that need to be embodied in the icon design.
I envisage that there will be around 15 icons, currently a small number have been identified. These include
- Learning plan - which shows the list of learning elements allocated to me (as the user)
Resources - these are documents and links that may be useful to me (as the user) for me to continue with learning - such as "how to" articles, etc - Support - which allows me to log a ticket for help with the course administrators
- Events - which allows me to look at my calendar of events and interact with that
As these are further explored there will be more items identified. These will be finalised by the end of the year. At this stage, I would welcome design options for these 4 items - and based on this I will award the project to complete up to 11 further icons (making a total of 15 icons).
