I need a logo design for a blog (www.thefortean.com) that will feature reports and analysis of strange and mysterious phenomena worldwide. Charles Fort was an American who collected reports of strange phenomena; 'rains' of fishes and frogs, poltergeists and ghosts, mysterious animals, psychic powers etc. I want to write in depth about the kind of material he used to collect - that's why it is called 'the fortean'. I want to have a design that is clean with simple basic but slightly formal lines but clearly signals the theme. I do not want the logo to be too extravagant or sensational. The site already has a report of a rain of fish story - I can see that as a theme in the logo (or perhaps frogs!). I have provided some images that reflect the 'rain of fish/frogs' theme although the logo does not have to be simply line art. It should communicate intelligent discussion of these topics, not sensational coverage. I suggest googling 'rain of fish' or 'rain of frogs' for ideas.
