Logo Design Brief

***UPDATE: Please note in my original brief of "must haves," the logo MUST include BOTH a hiking boot AND a high-heel bootie, and the hiking boot needs to look like a hiking boot, not a regular sneaker. Please see sample photo of hiking boot that I submitted with the brief. Thank you.***

Here's the inspiration for my project:
"Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt." - John Muir

(John Muir (1838-1914) was America's most famous and influential naturalist and conservationist. He is one of California's most important historical personalities. He has been called "The Father of our National Parks" and "Wilderness Prophet.")

I need a logo design for fashionable women who want to get out of the shopping malls and get dirty in nature by hiking and camping in the beauty of the wilderness. My target market is women in their 30s-60s. I plan to start a new YouTube channel, social media links, a blog and a website (which I will need designed as well). I also want to create products for purchase that incorporate the logo (t-shirts, coffee mugs, backpacks, etc.). I plan to monetize the project, if not initially, soon after.

The name of my project is "Dirty Boot Diva."
My definitions of a Diva: (pronounced DEE_VAH) - 1. Noun: A woman who exudes confidence and style and does not let others influence who she is or what she who she wants to be. 2. Noun: A woman whose personality and character make her stand out from others. 3. Adjective: A woman's title in a group of friends or in society, whom many people emulate. 4. Noun: A woman who works hard to achieve her goals and doesn't let anything get in her way.

I want the logo to represent some sort of transformation of designer boots to hiking boots. I picture a walking woman with a high-heel, stiletto boot on one foot and a hiking boot on the other. It doesn't have to be literal. It can be creative. I like the idea of using black with bold reds for the fashion part of the logo. The name 'Dirty Boot Diva' does not need to be in the logo, but should be under it. I tend to like clean Ariel fonts, too. Please use a font for the text that I can duplicate when I post online and YouTube content.
