I am going to update my request based on some feedback I have given others.  Hopefully this will help people.  My goal with this is to keep our current text based logo but to incorporate an "icon" or graphic built around, on top, or somewhere to our current logo.

 Also, I would like to keep the font black (or white) but a new image/drawing/concept art (logo without text) can be with colors.  In other words, think of the Twitter logo... that is what I am after.  Twitter has a blue bird that by itself represents the brand and then they have their name.  I am really after a logo/image/graphic that keeps our current name in the current format (if possible).

If you would like to get a better idea of what I am after, there was a similar logo contest done on another island and the winning logo has many elements I like.
