Logo for brand of girls active wear (6-14 years old). We are looking for a logo that is strong and powerful but also youthful and feminine. Our target audience are young, competitive, sporty girls who like to push boundaries and kick butts! Our clothes are designed to be as functional as they are fashionable.

Requirements

Must have

• Must have a strong aesthetic that appeals to girls as err on the minimal side. Must be legible and distinctive. Only one or two colours to be used and only one font (unless another creates a stylised aesthetic that is very unique and balanced). Please provide a colour logo but ensure it has a black variation for ease of use. Colours like teal, orange, yellow, peach, green are all great. Pinks and purples are fine too but feel a bit obvious in large doses.

Nice to have

• A device to accompany the logo would be advantageous. It would be used interchangeably with the logo, as needed. It should reflect the essence of the brand described in an interesting and simple visual representation.

Should not have

• No comic or kiddy-type fonts. We are very careful to make our girls feel honoured and respected so all steps should be taken to avoid the logo looking or feeling patronising to the more savvy girl. Ivivva by Lululemon and Athleta Girls are good references for the kind of sleek look we are aiming for.
