Logo Design Brief

We need a team logo based on the Mercy Cross and traditional colour . Our team is called 'Te Waka Tiaki' which in our context translates to , the team responsible for 'guardianship of the mission'. The teams role is to educate internally from board level (5 secondary schools, 2 Hospices, 1 Hospital, 4 Social Service Orgs) to the cleaner, the Mercy story, core values, culture and focus of the work of the sisters of Mercy in New Zealand. We must include the 'Mercy Cross'

Requirements

Must have

• Mercy Cross the words 'Te Waka Tiaki,
• cross design is organisationally the same,
• the colour initially should be the same as the website: http://www.sistersofmercy.org.nz/who-we-are/dsp-default.cfm?loadref=1

Nice to have

• The Hoe (paddle) doesn't have to show Maori pattern but should reflect the shape.
• We have it to show we are actively moving the waka/canoe/Mission forward in the same direction.

Should not have

• A different cross, multiple colours, though a different colour option would be fine
