Logo Design Brief

Startup web application dev company needs a logo. We're a small startup that will develop web and mobile software for small to medium businesses using a distributed resourcing model. Our aim is develop software in a pain-free and transparent way, that focuses on having a genuine impact on solving business problems .

This is where the company name of "Splash" comes in. "Splash" is chosen as a metaphor for "Impact". As in the saying "to make a splash" which means "to make a real difference". "Splash" is often used used to describe a prominent news story.

We have association with water, so please take care in your design to bear this in mind.

We are starting the design process with the logo, so we are completely open to consider any colour and style suggestions. However, suggest that aqua colours and or fonts are avoided.
