Logo Design Brief

We'd like a logo designed for an academic institution at the University of Massachusetts. The name of the organization is the Institute for Applied Life Sciences, or IALS for short. The institute focuses on supporting innovative life science research, and houses both scientists and business professionals.

We'd like the logo to communicate a culture that is life science focused, modern, and supportive. Attached is the current logo, along with a few images that could be used as inspiration to convey some life science themes.


We'd like the logo to use the blue color from the current logo, as well as Maroon.
