Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in Vancouver, Canada called "Pawsitive Gear". We design, manufacture, and sell raincoats for dogs on the Pacific Northwest coast. The reason for the word 'Pawsitive' is also evidently a spin on the spelling of 'positive', as it is a product for dogs.We would like to see designs that incorporate the feeling of fog, and/or walking in the rain in a Pacific Northwest coast forest/mountain setting. The final design should communicate this is a technical/performance product for dogs of all sizes, with a bit of a masculine edge. Additionally, it would be great to see two final variations of the logo: one with the full name that could be used on a website and advertising, and another perhaps with just a symbol that could be used on the rainjackets.

Target Market(s)

Adults, both male and female age 45-54 with teenage children in the Lower Mainland area of Vancouver (Research says this is the most likely profile to own dogs), however, also just considering 'dog owners with an active lifestyle'

Nice to have

• Would love to look towards an image of fog moving through a pine forest on a mountain for inspiration. The feeling that comes from this image could ideally somehow be captured.
• Consideration for a sense of illumination, whether through something that looks like it has a glow or a gradient with light hitting it

Should not have

• Pink, polka dots, frills, or anything related to this. It should be the opposite of this.
