Print Design Brief
The four-page newsletter in the middle of our monthly magazine publication needs an accomplished designer to give it a fresh and updated look and feel. The magazine is a trade publication with a mix of lifestyle articles (gardening, outdoors, recipes, etc.) and information about the electric industry. We print 17 versions of the magazine each month, each with its separate and unique four-page newsletter. While some of the elements are the same in each version, the content can vary greatly.
We are looking for a designer to make a base template of the four pages on which we can build, depending on the content we get each month. There needs to be a consistent and similar feel to the rest of the magazine. We are especially interested in new treatment ideas for photos and graphics, and interested in adding embellishments.
You have available a PDF of the magazine to see how the newsletter on pages 7-10 fits in, a recent newsletter to see how it is currently designed and a .zip file of all the original content you will need for the redesign.
Please use the same fonts we use for the magazine, which are Agenda and Minion Pro. If you do not have these fonts available, please use something similar.
