Logo Design Brief

The City of College Station, Texas is creating a military / veteran event, Texas Weekend of Remembrance, to occur over Memorial Day weekend. The event's purpose is to honor and celebrate those who died while serving in the United States armed forces, and has the additional goal of drawing overnight tourism from across the state and beyond. This is intended to be an annual event.

We need a logo designed to portray American patriotism and the strength of our military.

The logo does NOT have to be solid red, white and blue either.

Unfortunately, event details are not finalized at this time. But we do not want a logo that is anchored around one event element so that we can have a long-lasting, versatile design.

Please provide a logo proof that is looking straight on over a white background. We also do not want acronyms in the design.
