Logo Design Brief

In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Suit Souq, a company offering men's tailoring services. Suit Souq is a global "market place" for tailors to sell their e commerce products and services via an e commerce website suitsouq.com, the business also offers its own range of custom and business men's tailoring services (Bespoke suits, shirts, tuxedos and accessories) from its branches based out of the Middle East (Dubai, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain). The website www.suitsouq is currently under re-design.

The design will appear on website, business cards, Men's clothing and accessories packaging, Facebook, Instagram and other communications.

We recently had to change our logo due to a potential copyright conflict so entries to this competition must be authentic and not at risk of copyright or trademark infringement globally.


PRIZES
•The top entry that the client chooses will receive $100.


•The top voting winner will get 100 credits.

CLIENT RULES
•Logos must contain the letters "SS" in capitals.
Logos must contain "SUIT SOUQ" written beneath the "SS" logo. Suit Souq is cAsE SeNsItIvE.

•The logo can contain up to 3 colours, 2 are preferable. White, Gold and black are the themed colours for the new website. The logo can use one or more of these colours or variations.

•Entries may contain gradients or monograms.

•The logo style must be fashionable/stylish and business professional, yet with an e commerce flair, Arabic or calligraphy style influences will also be considered if the logo is easily understood by an international non Arabic audience. It should be couture. Their target audience is men and women, ages 18-40, who are fashion conscious and consider their impact on the world, environment and contribution.

•Your logo should represent masculine but elegant, fashion forward, and strong! They represent tailoring tradition, couture fashion with an e commerce arabic souq influence twist.

•The client is open to symbol options. The client would like an abbreviated branding using SS letters in capital or graphic that can be used without the company name. The SS logo will be fitted to the inside of suits, shirts and clothing.

•Any font may be used. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.

•Before entering this contest you must read this thread.

GENERAL RULES
•Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) or high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd), to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).

•Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.

•Your "main file" must be a single image view of your design. Any multiple views or variations in design must be uploaded as a separate file within your entry.

•Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the watermark doesn't overlap it.

•Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to suitsouqinfo@gmail.com.

•The Designer in this competition warrants that any design submitted to the Client was created by them and is an original design and not subject to any pre existing global copyright infringement or trademark infringement.

•The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
