Mascot Design Brief

Need a line art logo to represent my company, Deep Films. We are a production company and need a fun logo to put on hoodies, hats, matchbooks, etc. Should be simple line art. But can be any style from clean to expressive (see scrap provided) A crude drawing of what we are looking for is also provided. Waring: it's really bad. Drawing is basically a deep sea angler attracting a spear fisherman with its light. Since we are a production company the light is a studio light you might see on a film production. The deep sea angler may have eyes that look like a camera lens (fisheyes), but that may be too much. The artwork should be fun and maybe a little retro.
