- Organization Background -
Our website receives over 40,000 unique visitors each month - mostly cancer patients and their family members seeking information about their disease. We would like to drive our visitors to donate to our nonprofit throughout late November and December (the majority of our donations from individuals come in during that time period).
We will be mailing an appeal letter to our database in mid-November. With this banner ad, we seek to complement that appeal. Some key messages from our appeal are:
- We focus on getting patients and their loved ones the best, most up-to-date information from trusted doctors who are leaders in cancer research – for free. We don’t sell a particular product or procedure. We simply arm them with the most current information so they can make the best decision for their own (or their loved one’s) care.
- What is the value of the support they or someone they know has received from our organization? Twenty-five dollars? One hundred dollars? One thousand? Can you even put an amount to it? Whatever it is, please consider making an end of year donation to this organization that has helped so many, comforted hundreds of thousands of patients and caretakers, and been there when needed.
- 2014 will be a year of growth. We just hired our first executive director. She is experienced in helping small nonprofits grow in size, revenue, and scope, and will undoubtedly bring a new level of energy to our work.
- In just a few months, we will hold two patient forums – first-of-its-kind programs for the organization. As we continue to grow, we will be able to offer more of these types of programs to more patients throughout the US.
