Character Design Brief

I need a logo designed that is loosely based on the well known image of a Laughing Buddha character. I don't want the literal translation of a "Laughing Buddha" but a loose outline of a Laughing Prophet that appears as smoke, not hard lines. Please be as creative as you want with creating this character as there is no previous design for you to follow and I am not married to the image in my mind. Descriptive words I would use for the character would be happy, laid back, chill, relaxed. It can be as simple as a dark steel background with white/light grey smoke creating the buddha-type character. I am also not opposed to the smoke being colored as long as there aren't more than 3 colors for printing purposes. The packaging that I will use this is on is small so keep that in mind and don't spend time on details that will not be seen. I have included a sample of the package below in the attachments.

• Character should have a rolled cigarette in mouth or hand.

Should not have

• Please do not present the literal translation of the laughing buddha character.
• No more than 3 colors in the design please.
