Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design (and corresponding business card design) for an accounting and tax preparation firm in Huntington Beach, California. We are a mid-sized firm and have been providing cutting-edge tax, accounting, and business consulting services to hundreds of clients for over 30 years. We would like to see logos that incorporate our status as a leading firm and excellent source of all tax knowledge. Our new name will be Beacon, so we are looking for a logo that shows us as a signal, guide, maybe a lighthouse, maybe not! We want to see signs that use a darker blue as the primary color. The final design should communicate stability, leadership, ahead-of-the-curve advice, and should be clean.
You are welcome to shorten the name - our full name is "Beacon Accountancy and Business Services, Inc." but we go by "Beacon Accountancy" most of the time. You could make the other text smaller, omit entirely, etc. We would like to see variations on this.

- Darker blue as the primary color - other colors optional and up to designer which ones. Please shy away from purple!
Nice to have
- It would be great to have two versions for every submission. One with just "Beacon Accountancy" and the other with "Beacon Accountancy and Business Services, Inc." but have the "and Business Services, Inc." smaller or less emphasized than Beacon. Thank you!
Should not have
- NO BABS - we don't like this abbreviation NOR would we use it as our logo!
