Logo Design Brief

Attention hipster designers! We are looking for a consumer logo with a vintage, cool, edgy, subversive design with a hint of nostalgia for our online TV channel.

PLEASE NO CORPORATE DESIGNS.

BACKGROUND

Candivan is an indie online streaming and production company, that produces and distributes low-budget but high quality tv series via the internet. The content is clever, fun, edgy, cool, arthouse, experimental, enlightening, and escapist.

Our future competition is Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. Our main point of difference is that we have a more “indie” feel, and we want to reflect that in a logo with a little bit of “kitsch charm”.

LOGO

The logo must be fun & vintage, BUT also edgy, a little bit sinister, and subversive.

The Candivan logo will evoke a happy, fun, escapist vibe with a hint of “danger” lurking beneath the surface. The viewer “risks” being delighted, challenged, changed and enlightened by our tv content.

*Our viewers are a young, cool, progressive audience 18-39 years old
*Our film makers are also young, talented, progressive

*The Pleasure Island scene from Pinnochio is a great example of fun with a hint of sinister (kids being lured to this island of unimaginable fun, but they’re really entering something dangerous).

Must have

• -The color should be pink (pink and white for the c). Here's the color of pink that we want if it's possible: Hexadecimal code for the pink color: #ff0096
• - This is the trickiest part: we would like a Candy Cane font for the letter "C" (Candy Cane font): http://www.fontspace.com/match-fonts/candy-cane).

• -For the rest of the word "andivan" we want a font that's also pink, but we want it to be edgy, and cool looking. It is best if you use one of these fonts, or if you make something similar to one of them:
