Logo Design Brief

Two Unions have merged and we are looking for a new logo. I have included the Rio Gande Logo. I would like to keep the crest look, potentially. Concept top portion of crest has rio grande river symbol, bottom might have grand canyon symbol, left middle of crest to have Arizona Flag, and right middle of crest to have New Mexico Flag. Or maybe rugby ball on bottom part and change top.
