Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for our new company. GiveGetGlow is a charitable online marketplace that focuses on recycling consumer and enterprise items such as unused electronics, toys, books etc or unused raw materials to raise money for charities. The logo must work as an app icon as well as a corporate logo. One idea I have for the logo is to creatively put two capital G's together (mirror imaging one of them) to form a general heart shape, and from there creating a glow affect either inside the heart shape or glowing outside. In this example, it is important for the two G's to be clearly identifiable as letters. This being said, I am completely open to new and creative ideas to support the brand. Regarding colors and fonts, I am open to any.
