Logo Design Brief

I would like a simple modern and crisp design - just using the company name and tag line.

Company Name: Kootenay Interiors
Tag Line: Unique Custom Curtains & Fabric

For your information Kootenay is a region in BC where I live.

I would like the two lines designed separately so I can use them together OR independantly. I intend having the chosen design made into business cards, used on my new website, promotional brochures and postcards, so the design needs to be flexible.

I do not want drawings of curtains or a sewing machine in the logo as I find that old fashioned. I would like this design based on using a nice modern Font. I have a website at the moment (www.kootenayinteriors.com), but I am also getting the site updated once the logo has been made as I don't like the font I chose and am currently using - it needs to be simpler so it's easily readable.

I like the logo I have uploaded below as it's quite simple, but modern.

Target Market(s)

Female aged 30 to 65 with high disposable income and perhaps 2 homes. Interior Designers, high end furniture stores.

Requirements

Must have

• Modern. Can be Wordmark logo only OR an Abstract Logo with Text. I quite like the Wren logo I have attached with the simple bird design - modern, but simple. The other attachments below are just some things that inspired me, whether it be the colour or design.

Nice to have

• My favourite colour is Duck Egg (between and blue and green), but I am open to any colour if it looks great.

Should not have

• I don't want any 'curtains' or sewing machines is the logo - that I think is very old fashioned.
