Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a consulting firm specializing in owner representation for facility projects - we stand in for the owner during design and construction of their facility. Our primary market is hospitals. We bring expertise in all aspects of design and construction as well as the owner's market (e.g. healthcare). My kids will tell you the name comes from the fact that I have degrees in Mathematics, Structural Engineering and Architecture, but the name is a reference to the threshold of perspective - the visual angle required to perceive depth; the key being that we bring perspective to a project. We help our clients look at their project in a different way. To the extent possible, the logo should encourage trust and confidence.

Target Market(s)

Design/Construction industry. Specifically building owners with large portfolios and complex facilities: hospitals, colleges and universities, government.

Requirements

Must have

• The cards will be specific to the project we are working on (e.g. title of "Project Manager, University Health Systems Cancer Center"), but must clearly demonstrate that we are an independent contractor - not a part of the client company. The card is all about Three Degrees, even if it includes the client name on it.
• Standard US business card format.

Nice to have

• I like the concept of a graphic on the back of the card that is not immediately obvious, but which requires some consideration to understand, and comes with an aha!

Should not have

• No text or information on the back. The back is finished only because it is a part of the overall card - not additional information.
