T-shirt Design Brief

I feel there is a shortage of quality, affordable, gym apparel for males and would like to make a few styles of vests/singlets and t-shirts.

I'm not after anything flash, but something that says 'strong & powerful' and is appealing to gym and fitness males, worn at the gym or for everyday wear. I'm thinking along the lines of weights, dumbbells, barbells, motivational quotes etc.
Very much open to ideas; there is a lot on the market for women but not that much for men. I'd like to try and avoid the whole 'do you even lift?' thing but let me know what you have and can go from there.
