Web Design Brief
Hi there,
Thanks for checking out this project!
We're a UK based energy efficiency business. We arrange for energy efficient systems to be fitted in people's houses (i.e. efficient boilers, solar panels etc.) However, we do not install them ourselves as we have accredited installers who install on our behalf. Therefore the website should appeal to these businesses and have a very professional corporate feel. The final design should communicate that we are a financially safe large corporation.
Our existing website should not be used for inspiration as the style and content are very outdated (it was from a time when were installers - which we no longer are).
The new website design should use the greens from our logo, however I don't want the site saturated in this colour.
I'm really open to your chosen layout and therefore I'm not a huge fan of including links to websites I like - as I don't want to limit your own creativity. However, I would like it to look corporate (but not too boring and unimaginative).
So here's a few links to websites that I feel give a feel of financially safe / large corporate etc. Although you certainly don't have to design with this style / layout in mind:

http://www.markgroup.co.uk/
http://www.fscs.org.uk/
http://www.catalysthomebuy.co.uk/
http://www.ajbell.co.uk/ (very bad design but looks corporate)
http://www.climateenergy.org.uk/
http://www.hl.co.uk/ (looks corporate but too busy and boring)
http://www.vodafone.co.uk/business/index.htm
http://www.centrica.com/
https://www.allianz.com/en/index.html
The site is for 4 different audiences:
Consumers | Businesses | Public Sector | Installers
Therefore, it's important that there is some form of way of splitting the site up into these sections (almost like 4 websites in 1). Each section will then have the navigation menu with 7 links.
I've attached our logo (company-logo.jpg) and another logo design we have to display inline with regulations (green-deal-logo.jpg).
Happy designing, and thank you!
