Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my marathon coaching business. I specialize helping competitive age group runners with their marathon finishing times. The athletes are typically highly competitive runners with office jobs who need assistance training in a limited free-time atmosphere, but who still have high race ambitions.

The logo would be used on my website, on racing singlets, and other promotional type products (i.e., hats, race banners, etc.)

I am looking for a logo that is simple, yet memorable, easy to associate with the phrase Run Rabid.

The phrase can be two separate words, or run together, or one word within another and you can change the uppercase or lowercase of the letters.

The logo needs to be recognizable at both small and large size. Not saying that the logo must be a specific size, just that it any detail needs to be easily seen when the logo is used small or large - consider the difference between a logo that fits on the bill of a hat versus a logo that is on a race banner, which can be six feet long.

The logo should not be tied to running nor should the design be comical. Really looking for a design that is relatively simple, distinctive, and memorable, but that gives the idea of speed or movement.

The run raid concept is the basis for the marathon training programs. essentially, these athletes already very successful runners, so the training they need is highly individualized and likely much more intense that they have run in many years. Mental training is a big part of the program, including visualization exercise

Requirements

Must have

• simple design that gives the feel of movement or speed
• I clicked the box for an abstract logo, as those best represent what I am looking for, but I would like the phrase "run rabid" to appear with the logo.

Nice to have

• It would be nice to have the option for the logo to be printed as a single color and also have the same logo with multi-colors within the logo. colors should be bright (greens, blues, purples or oranges)

Should not have

• nothing to do with running - no running shoes, no person running, etc. Needs to be separate from running - everyone else does that, I want something different.
• no brown or yellow colors
