Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for an orthopaedic surgery research group that we are setting up in the north west of England. Our aim is to perform world class research with young orthopaedic surgeon. I would like the logo to be vibrant, intelligent, strong, professional, clever and may incorporate some orthopaedic and academic imagery. The group is call ORIGiN (Orthopaedic Research Initiative Group in the Northwest). Some of the attached images could be incorporated in place of letters or going around it. The tree of Andry is a orthopaedic logo.
