Web Design Brief

We need a new web site. The Heartland Cafe is a 40 year old restaurant in Chicago. We've been one of the premier, casual vegetarian restaurants since we opened. 5 years ago, Heartland Cafe was purchased from the original owners by a local, certified organic farmer. We are nearly 100% from scratch kitchen, 100% certified organic produce, we are governed by a strict sustainable plan and we are very active politically. But you wouldn't know it form our website! We have a desire to build a simple website around some basic principles:
1. We need our current logo prominently displayed (logo attached)
2. We need a "click to call" easily accessible
3. We have an online order link that needs to be easily accessible
4. We need our hours, location, and directions easy to see
4. We need a separate events page (we have a live music and events venue that runs shows 5-7 nights per week.)
5. We would like to have a separate page for pictures, particularly old pictures. It would be fun to have a function for people to post their own shots, but that might make this too complicated. If it were possible, we would of course need to retain the ability to curate posted pictures.
6. This needs to be easily edited by us, so in a platform such as word press or similar
7. We will need this mobile enhanced

Requirements

Must have

• Logo, click to call, events page that we can manage, contact us, about us page, menu (we have the online menu through a third party plugin), a page for our market and some nice pictures on our splash page,
• Must be mobile ready and on a platform such as Word Press or some other platform where we can edit on our own

Nice to have

• Page for past employees and historical pictures, be nice to have food pictures or something similar on a scroll, would love to have an ability for others to post pictures that we would "approve"

Should not have

• We don't need anything that spins, moves, flames or other features that detract from gathering information
