Illustration Design Brief

We need an illustration for the home page of our website. We craft 100% organic and pure ingredient e-juice along with selling vaping (e-cig) devices. The website wireframe placeholder dimensions are 1920px x 400px so the high quality design file should be able to be scaled to this ratio with minimal distortion. We can also work with 1920px x 600px if needed but prefer the smaller size. I have attached a poorly drawn conceptual idea but am open to creative ideas being incorporated into the illustration. We would like it to be in a cartoonish type of format but not childish-cartoonish. We do not want anti-vaping advocates to think we are marketing to children-teenagers. The concept drawing shows the name "Garden of Eden Vapors" in the center top of the illustration intertwined with the tree branches. The name should have leafy vines coursing through the name and the script used should be a easily readable cursive type script. The website is going to be very colorful so we would like this illustration to be very colorful. The attachments included are the concept drawing, wireframe site layout with area where illustration will be presented, Adams and Eves vape devices. I have also attached a concept comparison photo of what my vision is for the illustration to show the color palette in which I would like the illustration to be. Additional detail notes entered 6/17/17:

1. It has been brought to my attention that the image size may be a bit restrictive. I can redesign the home page of the website to 1920x600px if necessary to make the concept easier to work with.

2. Because I am crafting e-juice/e-liquid that is 100% organic and of the purest ingredients, the overall theme of the design should portray "natural and organic." Purity and nature in a sense. The area below the horizon line can be saturated with, plants, animals, a river and rocks or whatever gives the viewer a vision of what the Garden of Eden would be (a beautiful forest-garden.)

3. Adam and Eve can be smaller in the image and not be the center of attention for the image (the garden should be the focus.) They could be leaning up against each tree, Eve under the apple tree w/the snake each smoking their e-cig devices. The e-cig devices do not have to match the sample device images exactly, just the style. Female a smaller stick type device (pink) and Adam a square type device. You interpretation of those devices is okay to use.

4. A cloud or smoke could float around the business title to isolate it from the colorful sky with possibly leafy vines wrapping in and out of the title.

Must have

• colorful design, cartoonish but not childish cartoons, name in center top as shown in concept drawing along with other concepts outlined in submitted drawing. Well hidden snake in apple tree above Eve (should be hard to find in tree.) Leafy vines running through name in top center.

Nice to have

• Any creative ideas designer can add to enhance imagery are welcomed but must stay within the brief outline, including the conceptual drawing and color palette simlar to the . Must be colorful. Overall must have idea is a view into the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve kicking back and smoking their vape devices preferably under their respective trees.

Should not have

• childish cartoons, naked or questionable adult content
