The logo is needed for Pike+Zijlmans, a newly formed partnership in valuations for international and domestic businesses. We value companies, financial instruments, tangible assets (machinery, installations and real estate), intellectual property and goodwill. Pike+Zijlmans is based in the Netherlands and through our network of professional appraisers, we serve clients around the globe. For sample projects, see http://appraisall.eu/projects/ and http://www.anvaluations.com/clients/.
We want the logo to instill the following: Trust/Confidence, Service and Expertise. We prefer colors in the blue-purple-red side of the spectrum and dark hues. We like simple logos with company name and white space. Examples are CBRE, Duff & Phelps, EY, Deloitte, UBS (see attached).
About the partners – Andrew Pike (business appraiser, American) and Pieter Zijlmans (machinery/equipment appraiser, Dutch) were both trained at international valuation consulting firms and have a shared affinity for sailing. Both are active in their respective valuation professional organizations. Core principles of Pike & Zijlmans are respect, continuing education, professionalism and work-life balance.

- 2 colors max, dark hues, red/blue/purple tones, white space. Simplicity is the key.
Nice to have
- A graphic can be nice, but it should be simple. We would be happy without a graphic. UBS graphic is impressive in its simplicity and elegance. Deloitte added a period at the end of their company name, making a bold statement.
Should not have
