PowerPoint Design Brief

Brainwaive LLC is a senior cadre of global business and technology advisors to enterprise clients on emerging technology, AR/VR solutions, and cyber security.

The desired PowerPoint (or Google Slides) presentation summarizes key points of a recently-completed, first-ever, comprehensive analysis of cyber security threats surrounding implementation of wearable Augmented Reality solutions (headsets/smart-glasses and software) in enterprise/industrial environments.

To be clear, we’re looking for both assistance with graphic design to illustrate key concepts, AND we’re looking for assistance with presentation format/style (color, layouts, consistent design elements, etc. so pitch looks pretty). We hope we can get that from one designer.

The target audience includes high-level business managers and executives of Fortune 500 companies concerned about unleashing a menagerie of unknown, untested wireless devices around their most-sensitive corporate assets and facilities.

The short message and theme: these unconventional connected devices (AR headsets and smart glasses) have opened up new and dangerous threat vectors into business data and operational assets, which must be understood and addressed by all key stakeholders and with the assistance of senior cyber security specialists (... like the Brainwaive consulting team, for example)! Think: foreign hacktivists have been able to infiltrate and disrupt maintenance activities on a nuclear reactor. Or, nefarious actors have installed ransomware on the operational control system of a deep-water oil rig and are threatening to irreversibly damage the drill string causing a massive oil spill unless they're paid in 24 hours.

The presentation must be professional, but we highly welcome your interesting style twists. We prefer a mostly graphical presentation with text only where necessary - i.e. we're not going to be reading the slides; we're going to be telling a story punctuated with your high-quality graphics. The style should instill a bit of fear without being cartoony - REALLY tough for me to imagine since we're having to match our client's soothing Aqua color scheme. How do you make that scary? :) It should also, through polish of the presentation, convey a sense of confidence that our Brainwaive team understands this unique topic better than anyone and is ready to help. Use your own created graphical illustrations or pics/images of the real-world.

We've provided our thoughts on design elements on each slide (colored BLUE; to be replaced with your designs). We've also provided talking points on the “Notes" pages of each slide (below) that we intend to personally refer to as we move through the presentation. That should help you understand the purpose of each slide.

Titles of slides can stay or be deleted, as necessary to convey the message on that page and we’re open to different verbiage if you think it will hit the points more effectively.

I can’t figure out how to get rid of the red border around each slide - please delete it.

From a color perspective, we want to be consistent with colors in the AREA logo (lower right; our client). I did not select the correct colors for the text in this pitch - they are approximate & need to be corrected to be like the AREA logo.

The background should stay as it is. I don’t like it, but it’s the client’s preference.

NOTE: The "AREA" logo in the bottom right-hand corner needs to stay the same color and design as it is now. Move logos around, if desired.

As a note, this project is going to be immediately followed with a separate flier project, then a full website refresh. Our logo needs help, also. Those are not part of this project but if we like your work, it would put you in position to possibly help with those if you're interested.

Requirements

Must have

• Professional feel. Somewhat constrained by colors in order to match client's logo. Client provided slide background, so we probably need to use it - this one could be optional. Really hoping the designer can provide some style so this doesn't end up being yet another boring business powerpoint.

Nice to have

• Need the most help with design of the graphics to help convey ideas on each slide. I took at stab at some examples just to give you an idea of what i was thinking.

Should not have

• Should not have any cartoon or unprofessional elements. No clutter or excess verbiage.
