Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new online-based training company providing personal financial training courses, etc. We would like to see designs that combine an age old / old world vibe with a modern flair. I don't necessarily want to stipulate color schemes or give too many restrictions - I want to allow a high degree of creativity. I will need logo for both horizontal and vertical applications - in both a light color and a dark color for different color backgrounds

Must have

• Not too colorful. Not necessarily black and white, but not necessarily NOT black and white either.

Nice to have

• I'm envisioning the name of the company 'building your empire' with an abstract or faded "empire" building idea - such as castle battlements or palace, etc - behind/above the text. But don't limit your ideas to this. THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT - just a suggestion. Every design submitted so far has had this, but again, do NOT limit your thinking or creativity to this.
