Book Cover Design Brief

I am self-publishing my first book and need a cover for it. The story is a dystopian based on the fruit fly experiments. It is essentially about a group of scientists who try to force evolution, resulting in extremely adapted subjects that are no longer interested in being tested on. The main character is 17 year old Elle, a leader in the revolution. She is joined by her best friend Ten and her little sister Elle. It is Young Adult fiction/Science Fiction. The title of the book is (R)evolution. Revolution and evolution are the two themes.

The Kindle website suggests:
• A minimum of 625 pixels on the shortest side and 1000 pixels on the longest side
• For best quality, your image would be 1563 pixels on the shortest side and 2500 pixels on the longest side

I was thinking of having something like a fly's eye with people trapped inside (as in trapped in the hexagons). I would prefer if the fly was a little more stylized as I am trying to sell to teenagers, most-likely girls, and I don't want them to be too put-off. I tried to sketch what I was picturing but I am terrible at art. It's really just a close-up fly's eye with people. I imagine there would be more people than what I drew. I have no idea if that's possible, but if not maybe it will inspire some other ideas. I am open to whatever you come up with!

The ones so far have been kind of dark... something a bit lighter would be nice. Also you can play around with the idea of people on the cover or something. Like the three main people mentioned above. Keep in mind that the audience is basically teen girls.
