Logo Design Brief

We are a beauty business specialising in eyelash Extensions. Our main market are 25-50 year olds who earn well and have a disposable income. Many are mums who want to be pampered.

Our salon look is moody, edgy, feminine and sophisticated.

In terms of font it could be Art Deco, Art Nevau or something elegant. Perhaps think Great Gatsby or An edgy Marie Antoinette.
But not too stock standard cursive.


One of the design ideas we had, but it doesn't have to be.
Is the profile silhouette of an elegant lady head with a hair updo, a delicate neck and long lashes. Sophisticated Victorian silhouette style with quality lashes written into the head. But sort of moulded and curved into the head. Not just normal straight writing.
It could be outside of the head also.
Quality Lashes could be underlined Ian's have a frame around it. In that Art Deco style.
Or be in the ladies head like I said above.

Our colours are black and gold. Our feel is moody, sexy, vintage, sophisticated and edgy.
The head can be on its own or in a Victorian curvy frame. Or even a dripping frame to maybe make it edgy.

The background of the hashtag could be like spilled paint/nail polish drippings. think kylie Jenner lip logo where it drips down the lip.

It doesn't have to be a silhouette of a lady, it can be something else such as sophistacated eyes, lashes or something else that you may think might be a good idea and sum up the things I outlined.

We are in a hipster area and want to be appear both edgy and sophisticated, but a timeless and classic font/logo may appeal more to the ladies between 35-50 who are our clients.

So it has to please many age groups.

If it's possible to have a metallic gold or sparkling gold as part of the black, gold design (with vintage white of needed) that would be nice as well.

Must have

• Black and gold writing, dripping gold/black imagery and a logo image of either a woman's profile face silhouette or similar
• Must be easily readable font so fairly bold
• Must say: Quality Lashes

Nice to have

• As described in detail above.
• Be a bit edgy.
• Could say The Eyelash Experts or The Eyelash Specialists under Quality lashes but doesn't need to. Only if it looks good and isn't too crowded.
• As the concept of having the writting inside the head coood be a good one .
• Could have pink accents if the designer sees that it might look good instead or as well.
• Could be Art Deco , art nevau style or thick paint stroke writtubg
• Could have a oval antique frame or circle around it
• Could have #i woke up like this in it

Should not have

• Boring or too cursive fonts. Too generic looking. Cheap or tacky looking fonts or images.
