Logo Design Brief

Company Name: The DAM Consortium
Slogan: The Digital Asset Management Experts

We are looking for a simple, but elegant logo for our new company. To give a context we are a small firm offering consulting, software development, project management, mentor/trainer services, deployment services, and solution advocacy for the media industry. We specialize in solutions to store, retrieve, distribute, search, and otherwise optimize digital assets (video clips, images, tapes, finished videos, web videos, etc.) Our client base includes companies ranging from smallish to Fortune 500.

What we'd really like is a combination of things.

1. A symbol that somehow embodies our field of expertise with media, servers, and code and consulting would be the first part. This might be some textual combination of the name of the company, or it could be a unique symbol that somehow stylizes some aspect of our business. This symbol would be a standalone capable of being used in situations where you need a small, square'ish, icon to represent yourself such as a favicon, or a button in an application.

2. A font treatment and whatever seems appropriate with The DAM Consortium. Obviously this would need to be a color scheme match in look and feel for the symbolic element.

3. A series of logos that incorporate our slogan in a natural way that fits the style, colors, and general feel of the symbolic and primary text.

Required elements for final delivery:
1. We expect to receive the raw psd and vector art files for all the different representations of the logo that are produced.

2. We expect a light and a dark background friendly version of everything.

3. We expect everything produced to be on a transparent background for easy drop in usage.

We greatly look forward to seeing the submissions for this project. We have a need for a logo that we can use before Monday if we can find a way to acquire one. So if you have a great idea and really want this project submit your ideas quickly if possible!
