Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a upcoming User Group Meeting. These are scientists from the biopharma and academic medical centers using our platform the Beacon which performs isolation and manipulation of single cells for a variety of applications in therapeutic discovery and development. (learn more at www.berkeleylights.com) Our theme for the meeting is "Beacon: Lighting a New Path" as we utilize white light to move cells in a nanofludic chip. The logo needs to reflect this theme. Our primary colors are dark blue and orange but this logo can incorporate a variety of colors as needed. We want this to be fun and also communicate the uniqueness.

- Incorporate Light in some manner. Complimentary to company logo. Easy to use on printed collateral and signs as well on T-shirts.
Nice to have
- An idea was to have a Lighthouse with a beacon of light chignon out onto a winding road. Any take off of this is fine and have creative license.
Should not have
- Too many colors. 4-5 colors would be best.
