Logo Design Brief
We are looking for a simple and timeless logo for a new electrical company - we are a group of electricians / electrical works. The winning logo will appear on business cards, shirts, vehicles and promotional items.
Our preference is for a logo that is not highly detailed, which we feel lends itself well to be printed on different-sized items, large and small.
Our company is based in Fort Collins, CO and we will provide our service to markets ranging from Denver, CO to Boulder, CO to Fort Collins.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality and most professional electrician work to our customers. We chose the name First Response for our company because we want to be the first company our customers call for electrical work, whether it be for a repair or a home improvement project.
Target Market(s)
Home services, remodeling and new construction. We are electricians and provide electrical repair and new installation.

Requirements
Must have
- ***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LOGO SHOULD HAVE THE WORDS "First Response Electric" in it. The original brief had the word "Electrical" and that was incorrect.
- The logo must have a graphical element and the company name. The design must be appropriate for something as small as a business card and as big as a billboard. This implies that the design is simply and not highly detailed.
Should not have
- ***Please note that the logo should not be an acronym using the letters "FRE". This will not work for us. Thank you. The logo should not have too much detail. We believe a logo for a company like ours should be bold and strong, but not overly masculine.
