Logo Design Brief

Through my company Lituus Projects I deliver original low budget marketing and operational projects and solutions to grow small businesses. My work also includes advising on leadership, recruitment, finance in a small business environment. Further, I consult small brands on export and growth strategies.

About me - the director:
I love working with brands and make them known, desirable and achieve conversions.
I love organising small businesses inside out to help them become more efficient in their operations.
I love designing and delivering marketing projects and drive improvements.

‘Lituus’ meaning:
1. Geometry. a polar curve generated by the locus of a point moving so that the square of its radius vector varies inversely as the angle the radius vector makes with the polar axis. Equation: θr 2= a.
2. In ancient Rome - a crook-shaped staff used by augurs for divination.


The brief:
I need a logo for my business and a business card for me as the director.
I think it could be interesting to see a connotation with the meaning of Lituus and possibly ancient Rome - however, without being too literate! The design has to be contemporary and original, not cold or corporate, rather warm and generating interest or enquiry; engaging into a conversation. I wouldn’t mind to include a motif (see one example I like attached 'Logo with motif').
I think the words ‘Lituus Projects’ should appear but not necessarily from the first look. I am open to ideas. I attach some logos I like the look of as well as two examples of a 'lituus'.

Colours:
I am open to colour choices, but I would prefer to inject some colour - not black and white as it tends to look to ‘strict’ and less inviting. I like fuchsia, but I certainly wouldn’t like the logo looking too pink. I am open to ideas on colour.

Fashion, sports or creative brands (or individuals) who have limited in-house marketing expertise and want to learn how to use marketing techniques to grow sales and brand recognition. Although with limited resources, they are ambitious and open to creativity. They often need an ‘all-rounder’ person to help them to structure the overall business including operations, finance, marketing and sales strategy.
Type 2.
Any size company looking for a specific marketing expertise to deliver a specific project; usually digital.
