Logo Design Brief

I need to get my Swing Dance Lesson's logo revamped / redesigned.

The current logo is at www.frogjumpdance.ca.

I am not married to the current logo and am looking forward to seeing new designs.

I have thoroughly searched and reviewed frog illustrations and related logos available on google and on many stockimage websites and was not satisfied with many of those images.

Hence I have decided to come over here.

This logo is for a swing dance lessons website. Swing dance consists of a Lindy Hop and Charleston and some Vernacular Jazz. This is for:

a). Small community based swing dance lessons

b). Frog Jump is a specific dance move in Lindy Hop dance in which the follower jumps like a frog beside the lead who is traditionally a male.

c). The idea of two frogs in some shape and form jumping and showing some aspect of being together or dancing together is definitely appealing.

d). I have attached a lot of files as references. My favourite logo being the SILLY FROG PHOTOGRAPHY LOGO (attached) - i like it as the frog has a bow tie and a coal miner's hat on. Most of the individual who swing dance like to dress in those terms like wearing suspenders, bow ties, nice shoes, hats like fedoras, walking sticks.. etc.

e). This logo will be used on the website, on a post card and t-shirts.

f). Ideally the colours used are cleaner and if reversed coloured - can go on a lighter coloured shirt / background and also on a darker coloured background.

Usually in mid 20s to 40s.
