Logo Design Brief

I am in need of a logo that will visually represent my high-end evening and bridal wear line: J.a.d.e.s. Galleria. J.a.d.e.s. is a couture brand that represents a confident and unique woman; one who is not afraid to march to the beat of her own drum. The Jade stone represents love, eternity, and peace. These are all qualities a J.a.d.e.s. woman exudes. In the Chinese culture, a jade is considered an imperial jewel. Because of this, I would like my logo to be regal and elegant.

• Please be sure to include the periods in between the letters
• Green is the primary color for the logo. Also, please incorporate gold as an accent color.
o Please consider one of the following colors for the brand name to be scripted in:
Pantone 2464, Pantone 2465, Pantone 2255, Pantone 7737, Pantone 2261, Pantone 2269
• The logo must translate well on black as well as white backgrounds.
• Incorporate a butterfly into my logo. I would like the butterfly to be elegant and ornate and preferably in gold.
• I am interested in seeing at least one design that includes a border reminiscent of a gold filigree around the logo.
• This logo will be present on item such as clothing labels and business cards. So, it is important that the logo translates well on a smaller scale.

Target Market(s)

Women ages 20-40 looking for excellent quality evening wear and bridal wear. The women in my target market are elegant, have a great eye for detail, as well as unique.
