Flyer Design Brief
Update: need this flyer asap due to the flyer drop deadline coming soon.
Job Intro:
Design a DL Colour Flyer for a small Electrical Contracting company in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne VIC.
Specs:
Size: 99mmx210mm DL.
Paper to be printed on: 150gsm Glossy Paper.
PSD/PDF file must include bleed/crop marks.
Type: Double Sided
Colour: Front and Rear to be FULL colour.
Note: Thanks for the black and white flyers so far, but i think due to the fact iam paying for colour printing anyway, i will go only with colour. (unless you can show me otherwise that black and white can stand out better than colour)
Aim: To Target Local Customers in the area with a flyer that grabs there attention and makes them want to read more, instead of throwing out the flyer.
(there is allready other people putting out flyers in area)

We do not have a logo yet for our company, please feel free to design something to suite (keep in mind copyright etc)
you may read our website for info on what we do, but please dont use pictures of jobs etc from our work page. and try not just copy paste text into the flyer. (i can do that myself thats why im getting a designer to add the wow factor to it.
Looking for a Fresh modern looking flyer that will really get the readers attention.
(please no cheap looking cartons pics, also would like australian based looking cables, products if you are using pictures)

I have included pics for ref, (such as my current cards and ute signage) please use as examples but dont just base the design on those thanks.
Also inc was my old flyers, i made them ,but they dont fit into the new DL flyer size so need to be re-sized etc.
Note: we may edit or change the winning design in future and this flyer will be copyright to us.

thanks for all the designs so far, some are starting to look great.
just thought id give you a few tips with design,
I will be picking the best layout of design such as:
- Background images that are relevent to electrical
- Nice looking fonts
- Modern looking and very professional
- Logo designs a plus
Not looking for:
- overly bright colours
- cheap looking fonts or logos
- images of electrical items that are not based in australia (i.e switchboards) as me if your unsure
Some people are designing with
- about us on rear page
- services we do rear page
- general comapany name and contact on front
but also welcome to inc a intro on front page.
when i get closer to picking winner i may get them to include a offer or discount somewhere on the flyer.
