Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a vacation rental beach house. The name of the property is "Cake by the Ocean" It will be used for a large sign for the house as well as for some custom swag for our renters. I would like for it to give a relaxing mood and remind people of a resort or spa. I want a letter mark logo combined with abstract/conceptual in addition to the entire name, so that the letter mark/symbol could be used alone sometimes. I had a design that I liked, but it was pulled due to possible copyright issues. It had a letter C with two layers of wavy lines across in aqua and light blue. Then underneath that, the name: Cake by the Ocean with Cake and Ocean being accented. For inspiration, take a look at the logo for Watercolor resort. It has an abstract image above the name, and so the abstract by itself could be used. This would be great for branding a product. Even like how the Design Crowd logo has a symbol that gives the feel of an idea popping into your head and then followed by the name. Use that same philosophy for this design and you will be on the right track for what I'm wanting.

Requirements

Must have

• Colors need to be aqua, blue shades on a white background. Needs to look professional, like a brand. Would ideally look good printed in either color or grayscale both.

Nice to have

• Abstract features that remind you of waves, relaxing, calming waters.

Should not have

• No cartoon-like pictures. Only abstract representations to give the desired effect.
