T-shirt Design Brief
DKSTERITY (pronounced deck-sterity) is a company that sells products made out of skateboard decks. www.dksterity.com Our website is very simple, allowing the products to speak for themselves. We do not have any design elements outside of our logo/logo bug but the design influence we hope will come through our brand is in playing around with the layerd plys of wood that make up a skate board deck. No wood grain, simple layers. The deck is the medium.
The main target market is industrial designers so the design should be very design forward. Think architectural gesture sketches and line drawings. No gradients. Looking for a smart application of the company logo. Would like the graphics in two places on a short sleeve. On front breast pocket, and the opposite sleeve. Any design that has the potential to evolve into a main design element (or at least set a personality or theme) for the comany will be given higher consideration. In other words, exist as a secondary logo or bug. Working tagline for our company is "Industrial Evolution". One color. Either white on black shirt or black on white shirt. Name of company can but does not have to be used.
