Graphic Design Brief
I have a nice and useful Udemy course but the sales are low.
Maybe it is because of the course image?
https://www.udemy.com/300-percent-productivity/
The thing is I don't know whether a serious design (like my project management course) or a totally different design (like my become the excel hero) course is the way too go.
Maybe it should be something cool the target person can identify with.
In a way the course is a "lifestyle product" because working long hours is easy. But working tight and good while having time for your hobbies is different.

Here are the requirements for the picture dimensions etc.:

Updates
Hi there,it is important that the image has not the classic cartoon / clipart style which many competitors use. Please look at examples from Udemy, they even make that for free:https://info.udemy.com/course-image-design.htmlThere are 3 radio buttons1.) Illustrated2.) Photographic3.) CombinationMy thoughts:1.) That is what I mean. My assumption is it is always(?) too generic. There are some exceptions of course like this guy here, I like his images because they are very fresh: https://www.udemy.com/user/janbrinkmann/). The bottom line is it should not look like the course images they sell on fiverr.2.) If the picture is really good and nails it: sure. Look at my project management course. The picture is good an people buy it.3.) Maybe that is the way too go becaus you can actually design something. You could combine a photo with an effect or nice filter or... I don't know.Thank you!Sebastian Added Monday, March 20, 2017
Target Market(s)
The buyer is most probably a private person, not a company.
However he/she is working in a company, maybe as a project manager or something.
In any case he has time issues and needs a way out. He does not want to stay longer in the office every day. He feels that there must be a way to get everything done in time and still being successful.

Requirements
Must have
- Please surprise me because you are the designer. :-)
- However, here are 5 examples I like and 3 examples I hate
- Like 1: https://www.udemy.com/seo-suchmaschinenoptimierung/
- Like 2: https://www.udemy.com/rhetorik-crashkurs/ (of course with stock person then)
- Like 3: https://www.udemy.com/ios-mit-swift-am-beispiel-von-praxisnahen-apps/learn/v4/overview
- Like 4: https://www.udemy.com/projektmanagement/
- Like 5: https://www.udemy.com/sql-bootcamp/
- Hate 1: https://www.udemy.com/produktivitat-im-arbeitsalltag/
- Hate 2: https://www.fiverr.com/elmalak/create-your-udemy-course-image
- Hate 3: https://www.fiverr.com/snehalwagh06/udemy-course-image-design-online
- You see: I hate the cheap design of: "let's click some clipart together and that's it."
- The image must also related to the course title/content of course.
- Please beware: I might change the course title. I am always trying new tiles so don't show a "god" or something. But you see that I struggle (or let's say play around) with the combination lifestyle + professionalism.
Nice to have
- Same text from project description above: (The thing is I don't know whether a serious design (like my project management course) or a totally different design (like my become the excel hero) course is the way too go.
- Please surprise me as long as it does not look like cheap fiverr designs.
- Maybe it should be something cool the target person can identify with.
- In a way the course is a "lifestyle product" because working long hours is easy. But working tight and good while having time for your hobbies is different.)
- Maybe you shoult look what sticks out in the Udemy search results.
Should not have
- I cannot bear the Udemy standard images and cheap fiverr designs anymore. ;)
