Menu Design Brief

the boat that rocks is a harbour side bar and restaurant (plus live music venue) in southern england.
it is a fun high traffic venue with a capacity of 280 diners inside and out
we have written our menu for the summer season and are looking for a fun, visually exciting menu design that suits our food offer.
we have a facebook page tbtr_portland and a website www.tbtr.co.uk which show our business and our typical customer base
we have a mixture of customers from hliday goers, boaty people who vivit the marina, local customers and peoplle visiting the jurasic coast.
in addition we are bilding a reputation as a watersports venue with paddle boarding, kayaking, windsurfing and kite surfing plus of course sailing
our building was the home to the olympic sailing events in the london olympics and was built specifically for that purpose
ideally we would like the design to be informative, fun and spread over three pages

Requirements

Must have

• the ability to add to text / descriptions of each dish
• fun notes adjoining each section of menu
• maybe local info about the area
• am happy to send examples of design styles that we like

Nice to have

• see above plus .......
• headers for each section of menu
• ability to add logo, live music dates and map to back of each of the three menu sheets
• menu will be tri fold a4 so each sheet of menu should be a4 in size
• we like either a oatmeal colored background with red blue and black type and lines
• or white background
• different fonts for each heading
• boxes around some menu sections
